The neckline is knitted back and forth, then connected at the front chest and knitted in the round from there. The sleeves are separated from the body. The neckline is worked by picking up stitches around the neckline opening and worked as rib with the option to add print. The neckline is folded to create a double-thick rib and is stitched down on the WS.

The fair isle print on the sleeves is knitted with 2 colors at the same time. Some knitters struggle with keeping the tension right when working with 2 threads at a time. If you have difficulties working the fair isle, change to a bigger needle for the sleeves, 4,5 mm could do the trick.

It is very important to use hand-dyed yarn for the print, it brings the pattern more to life and adds the cherry on top. For the main color, I recommend alternating by working with two hanks at a time so the color blends more evenly in the project. When you knit with both hanks at the same time, you simply change them out every other row. Here is a good example if you’re not familiar with the technique:

https://youtu.be/dVsN8qJ3ZD8?si=aV8DcUSPInbA0IjY

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0939/9690/8893/files/FEBF1C21-B4FC-45E2-B591-C5D7CAFDF7CB.jpg?v=1769448191
