Measurements are taken before washing. The sweater is intentionally oversized and taken when untied, it can be worn as a dress. Sleeves are extra long. The design is bulky and relaxed.

Materials

Yarn: Organic Merino DK from Thelma Steimann (100% organic merino wool), approx. 225 m/100 g skein. Soft, high-quality base.

Yarn quantity: 7 (7) 8 (8) 9 (9) skeins

Needles:

Circular 4 mm, 40 cm & 80 cm (body & sleeves)

Circular 3.5 mm, 40 cm (neckline)

2 × DPN 4 mm (straps)

Notions:

Tapestry needle (for weaving ends, stitching neckline & cuffs)

Stitch markers

2 × stitch holder cords or scrap yarn

Gauge

Stockinette stitch, 4 mm needles: 21 sts × 29 rows = 10 × 10 cm

Adjust needle size to achieve correct gauge.

Good to know

Sweater is worked top-down in raglan style. Begin at the neckline, work the yoke, separate sleeves and body, then finish hem and cuffs. Neckline and cuffs are folded and stitched for a double layer. Strap holes are knitted into the fabric; straps are worked separately and sewn in place.
